Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a mix of engineering, CAPEX, and R&D projects. You will manage technical system replacements, lab/cleanroom refurbishments, feasibility studies, and innovation-focused R&D initiatives. In this role, you coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee external contractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver engineering and R&D projects from start to finish.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and act as the main contact for stakeholders.
- Review and approve project documentation (plans, URS, costs, planning).
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation actions, and drive process improvements.
- Support CAPEX planning and provide accurate data for portfolio reporting.
- Onboard and guide external project leads and provide PM training when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in engineering, technical, or R&D environments.
- Technical background in engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of facility systems and technical assets such as HVAC, utilities (water/gas), production and lab equipment, and cleanroom environments.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
