Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Specialist to join the team at our Beilen manufacturing plant. The role focuses on improving the QA Release process, managing major quality issues, and ensuring that quality standards in infant food production are upheld. The ideal candidate will act as a key link between QA and other departments, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to maintain high product quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to enhance the QA Release process by analyzing complex data, identifying issues, developing action plans with KPIs, and conducting gap and trend assessments.
- Prepare management reports and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Facilitate root cause analyses (RCA) and SAAB sessions, serving as the first point of contact for significant quality concerns.
- Support production meetings to ensure quality controls are followed and act as backup for the QA release coordinator.
- Advise stakeholders and participate in audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Approve quality deviation proposals, sign Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customers, and propose solutions for major quality issues.
- Initiate quality improvement actions and support the overall quality management system.
Requirements
- HBO or HLO degree in Food Technology or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in dairy or food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of baby food standards and microbiology is a plus.
- Experience with SAP-QM and Power BI.
- Analytical mindset, proactive approach, and good collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with allergens, product and process quality.
