Job Description
As a QA Specialist your primary focus is to improve the Quality Assurance (QA) Release process and manage significant quality issues, acting as a vital link between QA and other departments to ensure the highest standards for infant formula and infant food ingredients are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues via complex data analysis, performing gap & trend assessments, developing KPI-based action plans, and creating management reports.
- Support quality release activities: lead/participate in RCA/SAAB sessions, act as first contact for major quality issues, attend production meetings, and step in as backup for the QA Release Coordinator.
- Prepare proposals for non-standard items, coach team members, and provide advice based on analytical insights.
- Draft quality reports (FTR, RTFT, notifications), participate in audits, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
Requirements
- HBO in Food Technology or HLO, with 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in dairy or baby food manufacturing
- Knowledge of baby food standards and microbiology is a plus
- Experience with SAP-QM and Power BI is required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical, proactive, and persuasive personality
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
