Role Description
The Maintenance Work Planner is responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating all maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution. The role involves defining work scopes, organizing materials and resources, coordinating with internal teams and contractors, and maintaining accurate documentation to support continuous plant reliability and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Define the scope, timing, cost, and safety requirements for maintenance work.
- Prepare work orders, materials, and permits to ensure readiness before execution.
- Request quotations and select suppliers or contractors for specific tasks.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, coordinating with technicians and production.
- Monitor material availability and adjust plans as needed to meet priorities.
- Track progress against planning and ensure accurate administrative follow-up.
- Verify work hours, materials used, and contractor invoices.
- Maintain technical documentation and supplier contracts.
- Standardize and optimize recurring maintenance tasks.
- Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives.
Requirements
- MBO level 4 or HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Technical Business Administration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the process or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP, Ultimo) and continuous improvement methods (LEAN, Six Sigma, TPM).
- Understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
