Job Description
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that production and utility systems operate reliably and efficiently. Your day begins with a brief team meeting to discuss ongoing issues, after which you coordinate technicians and contractors, prioritizing work orders based on urgency and impact.
You will work on both routine and strategic maintenance projects, aiming to increase system efficiency, prevent downtime, and maintain high safety and compliance standards. You are a key player in identifying long-term improvements and implementing preventive measures to reduce corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize preventive maintenance plans based on technical analysis and technician feedback.

Perform risk analyses and implement corrective actions to ensure effective preventive maintenance and minimize unplanned downtime.

Coordinate and oversee corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and prioritization of work.

Manage external contractors and ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulatory standards.

Analyze complex malfunctions and proactively share knowledge with colleagues and external partners.

Identify and propose system and process improvements to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and internal standards during all maintenance activities.
Job Requirements
You are a calm, solution-oriented team player who thrives in a technical environment. Your communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively across departments. You maintain a strong focus on safety and are proactive in driving technical and operational improvements.

MBO 4-level education (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Measurement & Control Technology.

Practical experience in a technical maintenance or service role within an industrial or pharmaceutical setting.

Skilled in troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving complex electrical issues.

Knowledge of Dutch electrical standards and safety regulations.

Project management skills; certifications in Lean Six Sigma, RCM, or TPM are a plus.

Strong focus on system availability and risk management.

Valid Class B driver’s license.
