Role Description:
As a Hands on Tool Time (HOTT) Auditor, your main job is to measure how efficiently technical staff are working during maintenance activities. You help the company improve productivity and reduce costs by tracking how much time workers spend on tools versus delays or interruptions. You collect this data from different jobs at the plant, analyze it, and advise the team on how to work more efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule which jobs to observe together with the maintenance team.
- Perform on-site observations of maintenance tasks at Botlek and Maasvlakte locations.
- Use HOTT software and hardware tools to collect data.
- Enter data into PowerBI for reporting and analysis.
- Work independently after initial training.
- Meet regularly with the HOTT and maintenance teams to discuss findings.
- Recommend improvements to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
- Follow up to ensure that the suggested improvements are implemented.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills to work with different teams.
- Able to plan and manage your own schedule.
- Comfortable working independently after training.
- Basic knowledge of data entry and analysis (PowerBI experience is a plus).
- Interest in maintenance processes and productivity improvement.
- Willingness to work on-site at industrial plants (Botlek and Maasvlakte).
