Role description
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of critical technical projects at our advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in Amsterdam. You’ll play a central role in driving capital investments linked to site strategy, overseeing project definition through to handover. This position requires strong project leadership skills, technical know-how, and a passion for delivering safe, compliant, and efficient solutions in a regulated GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead CapEx projects from planning and design through execution, focusing on equipment, utilities, and facility upgrades
- Conduct feasibility studies, develop business cases, and present proposals aligned with project scope and strategy
- Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery
- Supervise on-site construction and technical execution, ensuring alignment with GMP, GAMP, and industry standards
- Guide cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle and foster collaboration with key stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement through risk assessments and lessons learned sessions
- Deliver project updates and presentations to ensure alignment across functions

Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management within Pharma, Biotech, - Medical Device, Food, Chemical, or Semiconductor industries
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cGMP manufacturing, GAMP validation model, and ASTM E2500
- Experience with validation lifecycle activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and project management tools
