Role description
As an Assistant Product Developer, you’ll join the Global R&D Renovation team and support the development and testing of new food products. This hands-on role combines lab work, kitchen trials, and pilot plant support. You'll play a vital role in bringing innovative, nutritious, and sustainable products to life within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Key responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of samples in the lab, development kitchen, and pilot plant
• Support sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies, ensuring accurate planning and reporting
• Conduct pilot-scale trials in collaboration with the pilot plant team
• Follow safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, internal protocols) during sample preparation
• Document findings with precision and contribute to ongoing product innovation
Requirements
• MBO or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in a lab, R&D, or pilot plant environment (e.g. food, pharma)
• Good understanding of food science principles and laboratory best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Team player with a proactive, accurate, and collaborative mindset
