About the Position:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Quality and Food Safety Innovation Manager to join our client’s Quality and Food Safety (QFS) team. This role will primarily focus on managing and supporting cross-functional project teams dedicated to the innovation and renovation of products. You will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating quality and food safety risks throughout the innovation pipeline. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of strategies and tools to maintain the highest standards of product quality across global initiatives.

Responsibilities:
-Serve as a core member of critical and complex compliance programs, ensuring adherence to established standards and driving the success of Right First Time (RFT) launches.

-Take an active role in global innovation projects, providing expertise to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements.

-Define and implement the Quality and Food Safety in Design framework for both local and global innovation and renovation projects.

-Develop, communicate, and support risk mitigation plans for identified quality and food safety risks in all relevant projects.

-Provide integrated directives, procedures, and tools to guide and support robust innovation and change management projects.

-Support local and regional QFS Risk Assessors with technical expertise where necessary.

Requirements:
-A degree in a relevant technical field such as Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, or Chemistry.

-At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food or pharmaceutical industry, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or product development.

-Strong understanding of food safety and quality risk identification and mitigation, with experience in HACCP and FSCC 22.000.

-Ability to balance strict quality standards with pragmatic solutions to ensure timely product launches while safeguarding consumer safety.

-Solid leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and engage a community of practice across diverse teams.

-Experience in developing and implementing quality frameworks, procedures, and standards.

-Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.

-Basic knowledge of statistics and data-driven decision-making processes.
