The Role
We are looking for a Head of Maintenance to enhance and lead our team of maintenance technicians, work preparation, and planning at our production facility. In this leadership and coordination role, you will ensure the efficient and high-quality execution of technical tasks. You will be responsible for managing a team consisting of 6 FTE shift supervisors, 6 FTE maintenance technicians, 1 planner, and 1 work preparer.
Responsibilities
-Offer technical assistance to production in accordance with the established standards.
-Maintain safe working conditions and ensure adherence to environmental regulations within the work area.
-Lead and guide the team to create an effective and efficient department.
-Coach and develop employees while promoting collaboration with production and logistics teams to resolve production issues efficiently.
-Act as a substitute for the Maintenance Manager in their absence.
-Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities in line with the maintenance plan.
-Ensure maximum availability and reliability of technical installations by executing scheduled tasks on time.
-Contribute to performance improvement by analyzing process disruptions and technical failures.
Requirements
-Relevant completed education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or business administration.
-Leadership or functional management experience.
-Excellent communication skills and strong leadership, particularly in the areas of safety and quality.
-Proficient in Dutch (both written and spoken) and has a strong command of English.
