Role Description
Our client is looking for a Procurement Assistant Manager to support their procurement operations in Rotterdam. This exciting role involves overseeing the procurement of goods and services, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth procurement processes to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing procurement activities and sourcing strategies
- Support the procurement team in maintaining relationships with key suppliers
- Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and services
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contract terms
- Provide detailed procurement reports to management
- Help with supplier selection and evaluation
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies
- Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
