Role Description
As a Senior Clinical Supply Chain Planner, you will oversee Source-to-Pay and Supply & Demand Planning for a portfolio of medicinal products supporting global clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global supply plans by collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless patient supply using demand forecasts, SAP, and planning tools.
- Conduct market assessments to define optimal sourcing strategies based on availability, pricing, quality, and documentation.
- Resolve sourcing and delivery challenges to maintain study timelines and address invoicing issues.
- Coordinate labelling, packaging, and shipment of drug products while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Manage purchase order (PO) and invoice reconciliation, updating ERP systems with cost data.
- Oversee ERP and procurement system tasks, including SKU creation, master data updates, and purchase order management.
- Maintain NAMP specification documents and support process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Operations, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Planning OR
- Associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in Comparator Product procurement and/or GMP materials.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and procurement platforms (Ariba).
- Experience with document management systems (Veeva Vault, PLM).
- Strong background in clinical trial materials supply & demand planning.
- Expertise in procurement strategies, including market intelligence gathering, negotiation, and vendor management.
