QA/QC Manager

The Role
As the QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for the QA/QC team and coordinate with various departments to ensure a transparent and cooperative workplace. Your role will involve implementing and upholding our client's Quality Management Process, standards, and systems while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
-Manage and mentor the site's QA/QC team, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and excellence in performance.
-Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards while proactively managing quality incidents to uphold product safety.
-Develop and implement quality strategies for the Leeuwarden site, ensuring alignment with the company’s global quality goals and initiatives.
-Supervise internal and external audits, foster a strong Quality Mindset throughout the site, and oversee the tracking and reporting of quality performance metrics.
-Play an active role in the Site Management Team, contributing to site-wide strategic development, including talent management and operational enhancements.

Requirements
-More than 10 years of demonstrated experience in quality management and assurance, with a strong preference for background in the food industry.
-Bachelor's or master's degree in food technology or a related technical discipline.
-Proven expertise in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and managing business change processes to foster continuous improvement.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
