The Role
As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of product launches, variations, and other activities related to the life cycle management of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, regulatory affairs, production, and planning, to ensure timely and compliant execution of all tasks. Your role will also involve participation in end-to-end projects, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain initiatives.
Responsibilities
-Ensure the timely planning, execution, and implementation of product launches, variations, and other lifecycle activities for products and partners.
-Act as a key member of the Product Lifecycle Team, ensuring alignment of launch and lifecycle strategies with supply chain objectives.
-Work closely with internal stakeholders including QA, RA, Production, Site Planning, Artwork, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Procurement.
-Coordinate and lead Product Life Cycle Team meetings, including preparing agendas, pre-reads, and ensuring prompt follow-up on action items.
-Ensure compliance and timely updates to the Change Control Management System for product launches, variations, and lifecycle activities.
-Contribute to supply chain projects, including SKU management, rationalization, and the implementation of new packaging configurations.
-Utilize tools like Smartsheet and Tableau to improve and streamline supply chain processes.
-Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of supply chain goals.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or an equivalent field.
-A minimum of 2 years of experience in site commercialization activities, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
-Experience with Smartsheet, Tableau, and other tools for process digitalization.
