Role description
As an Automation Operator, you'll be involved in maintaining the operational availability and reliability of our Automation and Monitoring Systems, as well as handling related maintenance and support activities to ensure these systems function smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain automation and monitoring systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting.
- Manage work permits and maintenance instructions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for operational automation issues.
- Troubleshoot automation systems and electrical control I/O cabinets.
- Ensure compliance with EHS and quality protocols.
- Support improvement and modification projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2- 4 years of work experience in a technical support organization preferably in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/process industry environment.
- Has the Electrical knowledge to perform initial diagnosis or resolve breakdowns.
- Minimum of 4 years work experience in automation / IT.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
