Role Description:
As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure that products from co-manufacturers comply with the latest legislation, quality, and food safety (QFS) standards. You will be responsible for updating recipes, reviewing product labels, and ensuring smooth execution of quality processes within an ongoing compliance project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Quality & Food Safety (QFS) function in compliance projects.
- Collaborate with quality managers, R&D teams, and co-manufacturers to ensure all QFS inputs are met.
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Support the modification of product labels and recipes in line with regulatory updates.
- Monitor trials and evaluations to ensure recipe adjustments meet quality standards.
- Assist in product registration and commercialization after updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Quality, or a related field.
- 3+ years (Bachelor’s) or 1+ year (Master’s) of relevant experience.
- Strong independent working skills with minimal supervision.
- Experience in cross-functional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
