Microbiology Analyst – Project Lead

Role Description
As a Microbiology Analyst – Project Lead, you will play a key role in coordinating and leading microbiological projects within the ADV-M (Analytical Development Validation Microbiology) section. You will be responsible for executing microbiological method suitability, root cause analyses, and product-specific microbiological studies. In this role, you will collaborate with Quality Control Microbiology and production teams to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

•  Develop and perform method suitability testing for microbiological analyses
•  Lead and coordinate microbiological studies and projects
•  Conduct and document root cause analyses within production environments
•  Act as a Subject Matter Expert during audits and inspections
•  Ensure microbiological analysis techniques remain up to date
•  Plan and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines and objectives
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to QC and production teams

• HBO degree in Microbiology
• 3-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology lab
• Knowledge of GMP, GDocP, and microbiological analysis techniques
• Hands-on, proactive, problem-solving, and team-oriented approach
• Fluent in Dutch & English
