Operations Manager

Our client is a top company that makes vaccines and medicines for animals. They've been researching and developing these products for 75 years, focusing on preventing infections in pets and farm animals. They also run the Dutch sales office and are committed to improving animal health worldwide.

Role Description:
As a Operational Manager, you will take on a key leadership role within the production team. You will be responsible for managing 15-20 operators, ensuring smooth operations, and optimizing output. Your teams support other departments, such as blending and filling, making effective communication a crucial part of your role. As the central point of coordination, you will drive continuous improvement and guide the department to a higher level. You will also receive mentorship from senior management to ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of operators, handling daily people management tasks. 
- Coordinate with planners and managers to ensure seamless production processes. 
- Achieve production targets while maintaining high-quality standards. 
- Identify and address deviations to ensure compliance with processes. 
- Optimize processes for efficiency, technology, quality, and safety. 
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures and promote continuous improvement. 
- Monitor data administration and drive performance-based improvements. 

Requirements: 
- Experience in operations or production management is a plus. 
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and optimize processes. 
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and efficiency standards. 
- Data-driven mindset with an eye for continuous improvement.
