Role Description
As a Junior Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical analyses of food samples, managing sample storage, and supporting the development team with troubleshooting and process improvements. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, data management, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare food samples for chemical and physical analysis.
- Accurately report and document analysis results, ensuring data integrity.
- Manage the storage of shelf-life samples, including tracking expiration dates and ensuring proper administration.
- Support the standardization and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Requirements- 1-3 years of experience in a food or chemical laboratory.
- Educational background in MBO laboratory studies, food science, or chemistry.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges rather than react to them.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Experience with laboratory software tools such as Excel and LIMS.
