Role description
As an Biotechnology Production Operator, you will be responsible for the cultivation and processing of bacterial antigens used in vaccine production. You will work with advanced single-use bioreactors (up to 1500L), ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines and collaborating with various departments to optimize production processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute media preparation, bacterial cultivation, and downstream processing
- Operate and monitor advanced biotechnological production systems
- Document production activities in accordance with GMP standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and process improvement teams
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance
- Degree in biotechnology, process technology, biology, or a related field
- Experience in cleanroom or GMP-regulated environments (preferred)
- Strong affinity for biological and pharmaceutical production processes
- Fluency in Dutch & English (spoken and written)
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts
- Yellow Belt certification (or willingness to obtain it.
