Role Description
The Senior Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the a Plant. This position focuses on enhancing plant reliability and performance, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and driving expense and small capital projects. Additionally, the role involves optimizing maintenance processes, procedures, and costs to ensure operational excellence, the Senior Reliability Engineer will work closely with Inspection Engineers, Process Engineers, Operations, Turnaround, Capital Projects, and Maintenance teams to execute these responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities
-Develop Engineering Solutions – Use data and reliability analysis to address failures and operational issues impacting capacity, quality, cost, and compliance.
-Monitor Reliability KPIs – Track and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
-Apply Lean Six Sigma – Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to develop solutions for complex challenges.
-Lead Root Cause Investigations – Facilitate investigations to identify and eliminate the root causes of failures.
-Risk Analysis & Maintenance Planning – Develop Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance Plans using RCM II/III methodology for critical production and safety equipment.
-Drive Equipment Obsolescence & Long-Range Plans – Identify and manage Bad Actor -equipment and implement improvement strategies.
-Ensure Compliance – Enforce adherence to corporate, industry, and company standards.
-Support Turnarounds & Outages – Provide reliability expertise during planned maintenance events.
-Lead Reliability Improvement Initiatives – Guide interdisciplinary teams in achieving operational excellence through reliability programs like Path to Excellence (P2E).
-Assess Emerging Technologies – Identify and implement new technologies to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
-Risk Management – Mitigate risks related to safety, environmental health, asset capability, and production goals.
-Drive Change & Continuous Improvement – Act as a change agent for the reliability improvement plan.
-Provide Leadership Support – Stand in for the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering team lead when needed.

Requirement
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum of eight (8) years of Reliability and/or Maintenance, Inspection engineering experience in chemical or refinery industry.
-Ability to drive continuous reliability improvements in equipment installations and work processes. Capable to coach, develop and hold others accountable.
-Strong commitment to safety, a high level of personal integrity, and dedication to conducting business in an ethical way.
-Ability to work across multi-disciplinary team.
-Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring Techniques.
-Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
-Reliability data analysis (Weibull, Crow-Amsaa and reliability modeling.)
-RCM based Predictive and Preventive Maintenance strategies.
-Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt .
-SAP, Microsoft Office, PowerBi.
