About the Position
We are seeking a Technical Department Manager for the Imaging Chain Cluster, focused on the development and leadership of a team responsible for software in minimal invasive medical systems. This position involves overseeing team performance, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
-Lead a team of 15-25 engineers and ensure the successful introduction and maintenance of high-quality, reliable products.
-Oversee talent management, including setting team goals, defining resource needs, and implementing process -improvements.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and departments such as Innovation, Operations, and Customer Services.
-Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and work towards continuous product and process improvements.
Requirements
-MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in technical software development and people management.
-Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
-Experience with real-time C++ development and healthcare product standards (DICOM, FHIR) is a plus.
-Proven leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and manage teams effectively.
-Strong communication skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
