The client is the biggest Dutch dairy distributor and dairy products manufacturer that is active worldwide. 

Role Description
The OT Team Lead in Lochem will drive technological advancements, streamline operations, and manage both ongoing and future projects. You enhance plant automation systems, maintain and improve the OT infrastructure of the factory. 

Responsibilities

  • Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of 5 employees, providing coaching and fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operational processes, ensuring tasks are effectively distributed within the team and that the right priorities are set and achieved.
  • Analyzing primary operational processes to identify bottlenecks, then implement and monitor improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensuring the ongoing development and securing of professional knowledge within the department.
  • Defining and executing the maintenance strategy based on business needs and associated risks, ensuring optimal asset performance.
  • Overseeing the implementation of departmental plans, guiding medium-term planning to ensure effective execution.
  • Taking ownership of OT security initiatives, ensuring follow-up on areas for improvement based on audits, root-cause analyses, and other assessments.
  • Working closely with the global OT cluster manager, internal stakeholders, and external partners to align OT strategies with the overall business objectives and ensure the success of new and ongoing projects.
  • Ensuring adequate capacity and resources for maintenance operations and the successful handover of new construction projects. 

Requirements

  • Min 5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, preferably within the food or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching teams, with a focus on driving results and fostering collaboration.
  • A completed WO or HBO education in industrial automation, technical business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of OT systems (preferably PCS7) and OT architecture (ISA 88, 95, 99, 102). Familiarity with maintenance management processes and systems (preferably SAP PM).
  • Experience in project and program management, with a preference for familiarity with ITIL methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to work independently under pressure and manage stress effectively.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English, as the role requires interaction with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage relationships with both internal teams and external partners effectively.
