Role description
As an Operational Technology Manager, you will lead the operational technology team within the technical department. In this leadership role, you will oversee plant automation, coordinate maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement. Your goal is to ensure the efficient functioning of OT systems while contributing to the company's sustainability objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate operational processes, set priorities, and ensure effective task distribution.
- Implement and monitor departmental plans using medium-term planning strategies.
- Analyze and improve operational processes, addressing bottlenecks and driving improvements.
- Establish and maintain a maintenance strategy aligned with business needs and risks.
- Ensure OT security compliance by addressing audit findings and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects and resolve issues.
- Ensure resource availability for maintenance and project handovers.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial automation, technical business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industries.
- Familiarity with OT systems (e.g., PCS7) and OT architecture (ISA 88, 95, 99, 102).
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (SAP PM preferred).
- Experience in project/program management, with ITIL knowledge as a plus.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
