Role Description
A QHSE Specialist is responsible for ensuring that an organization meets all quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards. They work to create and maintain policies that ensure the workplace is safe, environmentally responsible, and compliant with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
-Quality Management: Oversee product and service quality standards.
-Health & Safety: Develop safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and reduce workplace accidents.
-Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental laws and sustainability practices.
-Audits & Compliance: Monitor company practices to comply with industry standards and regulations.
-Training: Educate employees on safety and environmental practices.
Requirements
-Knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards.
-Strong communication and leadership skills.
-Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
-Experience in risk assessment and safety protocols.
-Background in industries like manufacturing, construction, or oil and gas is often preferred.
