Role Description
The Assistant Scientist in the Sample Management Team will be responsible for ensuring the proper receipt, storage, and distribution of samples in accordance with cGMP standards. This role will also involve maintaining sample inventories, executing sample transfers, and updating relevant documentation, while supporting a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities
-Ensuring proper receipt, storage, and forwarding of samples in accordance with cGMP standards.
-Preparing shipping documentation for sample dispatch.
-Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of materials and samples through digital systems (eLIMS, BSI).
-Coordinating the distribution of samples within Analytical Development (AD) groups.
-Executing sample transfers between different buildings or departments.
-Performing sample clean-up activities as required.
-Writing and updating relevant documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, related to sample management.
-Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely task completion.

Requirements
- An MBO or HBO level qualification in a life science study.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Affinity with sample management and experience with quality and laboratory systems such as GMP, BSI, and eLIMS are strong advantages.
- Experience with laboratory management systems.
