Role Description:
As a Cost Control Specialist, you will spearhead the optimization and digitization of the cost control team’s processes. Your responsibilities will include analysing workflows, implementing process improvements, digitizing reporting through Power BI, and ensuring all documentation is revised and user-friendly. You will also play a key role in training team members to adapt to the new tools and processes.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct an end-to-end analysis of the cost control process, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
-Develop and implement a comprehensive process improvement plan, leading various sub-projects to ensure optimal results.
-Digitize all cost control reports using Power BI, ensuring thorough testing, debugging, and stabilization.
-Revise and update all cost control documentation, including work instructions, to align with the new processes and digital tools.
-Train internal employees on the use of updated reports and tools, ensuring seamless adoption across the team.
-Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the digitized cost control process.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Proven expertise in process improvement and cost control within a professional environment.
-Hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent technical writing and documentation capabilities.
-Ability to train and support team members in using new tools and workflows.
-Familiarity with digitization, process optimization, and change management.
-Fluent in Dutch and English
