Role Description:
As a Maintenance Technician – Utilities, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing utility systems within a GMP environment. You will ensure the reliable operation of critical systems like water for injection, purified water, HVAC, and more, troubleshooting issues and minimizing downtime to support pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of utility systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve utility system-related issues promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities
• Identify and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to address utility-related challenges

 
Requirements:

• MBO Level 3 diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with utility systems, including:
  • Water for Injection (WFI), purified water (PW), and water preparation
  • Steam boiler operation and maintenance
  • HVAC systems and refrigeration
  • Electrical and electronics systems
  • Fire safety systems
• Proven experience in maintenance within utility systems
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and oral
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
• Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• NEN 3140 certification is a plus
