The role
In this role, you will be an integral part of a professional logistics team, supporting the operations of the business office and the Lochem site.
Responsibilities
-Contribute to the Texas project by helping close the Den Bosch butter factory by 01-07-2025 and transferring all products to the Lochem site before the closure.
-Support the SAP Retrofit project as Lochem adopts a new SAP system in March 2025, incorporating Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Operational Manufacturing Planning (OMP), which will change planning processes and introduce scanning on the shop floor.
-Assist with daily operational tasks at the business office, such as overseeing factory water systems, managing inventory, optimizing tank space, and planning capacity.
Requirements
-A bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics or business administration.
-Proven ability to improve processes and address logistics challenges.
-Experience with automation systems such as SAP, EWM, OMP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
-Strong analytical skills, a flexible and composed approach, excellent communication, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
