Role Description
We’re looking for an HR Assistant to take ownership of key HR processes. In this autonomous role, you will be directly involved in executing core HR functions and driving improvements to ensure efficiency across our HR operations. You will work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and HR Managers, providing foundational HR support and acting as the first point of contact for HR administration. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the company’s HR processes while also contributing to larger improvement projects focused on operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Managing the full employee lifecycle administration, including letters, contracts, benefits, and new hire support.
- Handling document management and supporting the lease car program.
- Working closely with HRBPs and HR Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and assist in aligning and improving current HR processes.
- Continuously identifying areas for process improvement and participating in projects aimed at streamlining and enhancing HR services.
- Taking a hands-on approach to identify issues and acting proactively to address them, while considering the consequences of any modifications or changes to the system.
Requirements
- A Secondary vocational degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR administration, with strong knowledge of Dutch employment laws and employee relations.
- Fluent in both English and Dutch (written and oral); proficiency in another European language is a plus.
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and HR systems such as SuccessFactors or AFAS.
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a creative problem-solving approach. You should be adaptable, structured, and capable of navigating complex environments and processes.
