The Role
This QC Specialist will supports the Quality Control Transfer team in managing the successful transfer of diverse biological tests. This includes introducing new tests from R&D and transferring existing tests across global sites. The position combines hands-on laboratory work with process improvement initiatives, ensuring that all activities align with GMP standards and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
 

Responsibilities
– Perform, monitor, and report diverse biological tests, including cell culture, PCR, microbiology, and immunofluorescence.
– Enter and process test results in data management systems and perform statistical analyses.
– Oversee testing activities, review results, and ensure timely approvals.
– Transfer testing knowledge and SOPs to other sites.
– Participate in quality assurance meetings, identify deviations, and implement corrective measures.
– Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools like Kaizen and 8-step problem solving.
– Train and mentor laboratory staff while ensuring adherence to GMP, GGO, and EHS guidelines.
 

Requirements
– MBO Level 4 degree in microbiology or related fields.
– At least 3 years of experience in a QC or GMP laboratory.
– Proficiency in SAP and electronic QC systems is an advantage.
– Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
– Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
– Team-oriented, detail-driven, and proactive problem-solver.
