Our client provides a wide range of consumer products, including dairy drinks, infant food, cheese, and desserts, across numerous European countries as well as in Asia and Africa. Additionally, they supply professional customers with cream and butter products for bakeries and catering companies. Furthermore, our client manufactures ingredients and semi-finished products for infant nutrition, the food industry, and the pharmaceutical sector globally.

Role Description
The Director of Global Quality Control is responsible for setting and implementing the global QC agenda. This role focuses on standardizing QC processes to drive efficiency and maintain high-quality standards in the dairy supply chain.

Responsibilities
– Quality Control Strategy & Implementation: Design, develop, and execute a multi-year QC roadmap to improve quality performance and knowledge sharing, with measurable impacts across strategic projects.
– Business & Strategy Influence: Provide expert input on business strategy and QA/R&D/Technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with QC standards and strategic goals.
– Trend Translation: Identify industry trends and translate them into QC concepts, driving process improvements and enhancing capabilities across the supply chain.
– Networking & Visibility: Build and maintain networks with internal and external stakeholders, representing in relevant industry forums.
– Mentorship & Development: Actively mentor and develop team members, sharing expertise to enhance organizational learning and establish a collaborative culture.

Requirements
– Education: Academic degree in a relevant field.
– Over 10 years in a quality or operational management role.
– Strong background in production technology, particularly in infant and toddler food standards.
– Proven expertise in leading a quality function, with knowledge of production standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
– Skilled in operational excellence, change management, and quality improvement initiatives.
– Exceptional communication, collaboration, and people management skills.

Other Information
This executive role includes periodic travel to Leeuwarden and Wageningen, offering the chance to shape the quality agenda for a global dairy leader.
