Role Description
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will join the QA-QC team in Workum, focusing on quality of Baby and Infant Nutrition ingredients. This role includes managing quality standards, coordinating audits, and supporting quality projects within the facility.

Requirements
– Completed HBO education, preferably in Food Technology.
– 3-5 years of QA experience in a production environment.
– Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
– Strong attention to detail with the ability to set priorities and oversee project progress.
– Effective communicator with skills to collaborate across all company levels.

Responsibilities
– Coordinate customer and certification body audits (e.g., ISO22000, COKZ, SKAL, Kosher, Halal).
– Act as QA expert on investment and NPD projects.
– Manage document control as the Tenforce key user.
– Oversee specification management and act as project manager for QA projects.
– Conduct root cause analyses for process deviations.
– Support the implementation of quality policies, including drafting procedures and performing hygiene checks.
– Provide QA input for innovation projects related to the Supply Chain and other department initiatives.
– Advise on hygiene improvements to maintain a high-quality dry blend culture in the factory.
