About the Position
As a QA Specialist, you’ll play a vital role within the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA-QC) department. In this position, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards in quality and food safety by managing audits, supporting new product development, and overseeing various quality control initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to work hands-on in a dynamic production environment, leading QA projects and contributing to innovation in food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate various customer and certification audits, including ISO22000, COKZ, SKAL, Kosher, and Halal standards.
  • Provide QA expertise in investment projects and new product development (NPD).
  • Manage document control as a Tenforce key user.
  • Oversee specification management and lead QA-related projects.
  • Conduct and coordinate root cause analyses to address process deviations.
  • Support quality policy implementation, procedure development, and work instruction reviews.
  • Provide ad hoc quality support, including conducting hygiene rounds and advising on factory hygiene improvements related to dry blend culture.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and cross-functional teams on projects that impact quality standards and site performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in a QA role within a production environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize, monitor progress, and coordinate effectively.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels, working as both a team member and a project leader.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
