Role Description
Your role as an Engineering Lead is to be an established and productive individual contributor in the engineering field. Administer equipment maintenance methods grounded in proven research. Apply your practical engineering skills to minimise equipment failure risks and enable peak performance of our machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve day-to-day objectives impacting manufacturing machinery and production equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate maintenance programs and complex repair projects to improve production efficiencies.
  • Monitor cost-effective, performance-based maintenance programs and lead engineering repair projects.
  • Integrate testing procedures to minimize equipment failure risks.
  • Conduct routine machinery tests and evaluations to ensure conformance with engineering specifications and safety regulations.
  • Examine technical reports and documents regarding equipment specifications, maintenance, and troubleshooting to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an individual contributor in an engineering field, specifically in repair and maintenance.
  • Strong practical skills and knowledge in maintaining and optimising machinery performance.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and contribute effectively to engineering repair projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering specifications and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct detailed technical evaluations.
