The Company:
Our client provides a wide range of consumer products, including dairy drinks, infant food, cheese, and desserts, across numerous European countries as well as in Asia and Africa. Additionally, they supply professional customers with cream and butter products for bakeries and catering companies. Furthermore, our client manufactures ingredients and semi-finished products for infant nutrition, the food industry, and the pharmaceutical sector globally.

 
Role Description:
As a Maintenance Optimization Engineer, you will be partially responsible for Asset Management at the Veghel site of our client’s company. You will assess performance, risk, and cost factors to optimize asset efficiency. .
 

Responsibilities:
-Analyze and report on performance losses at the line or machine level, with a focus on reducing maintenance sensitivity and deviations.
-Improve and integrate standard work processes within the organization.
-Facilitate the analysis of recurring technical issues and defects, identifying root causes using methodologies such as RCA and 5 Whys.
-Identify unplanned stops and develop cost-saving initiatives.
-Prepare improvement proposals aimed at enhancing asset performance to support structural advancements.
-Keep technical knowledge up-to-date regarding systems and processes and share expertise with team members.
-Manage long-term asset planning in SAP PM and oversee asset health and remaining technical lifespan.
 

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
-At least 2 years of relevant experience in a technical environment, ideally within the Food, Pharma, or Process industries.
-Knowledge and experience in maintenance processes within the process industry; SAP PM experience is an advantage.
-Experience in creating maintenance plans for new installations.
-Proficiency in facilitating improvement processes using methodologies such as RCA, 5 Whys, Lean, and TPM.
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; a Green Belt certification is a plus.
