The Role
Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Process Automation Engineer. As a Controls/Automation Engineer, you will oversee multiple automation projects from technical specifications to implementation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You’ll evaluate and select optimal technologies while collaborating with IT and engineering teams for effective integration.
Responsibilities
-Manage and execute multiple automation projects concurrently, overseeing everything from technical specifications to implementation.
-Evaluate and select automation technologies and equipment specifications to deliver the best solutions.
-Collaborate with IT, process, and utility engineering teams to configure, adapt, and integrate systems effectively.
-Ensure all projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during implementation.
-Monitor project risks, including budgets and schedules, and provide regular reporting.
-Maintain thorough documentation of technical specifications and ensure a smooth handover of systems to operational teams.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
-3-5 years of technical experience, ideally in project management within the food industry.
-Familiarity with process and packaging systems, with a focus on controls and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I).
-Proven skills in project planning, risk management, and budget oversight.
-Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities within project contexts.
