The role
The role involves managing service levels and stock allocation to ensure timely delivery of customer orders while adhering to specified SLAs. You will respond to demand and supply alerts, optimize stock distribution across all customers, and mitigate risks related to supply and quality issues. Additionally, the position requires effective stakeholder management, proactive communication of risks and opportunities, and overseeing the lifecycle of stock, including the management of obsoletes. Your analytical skills will help drive improvements based on KPI reports related to customer service levels.
Responsibilities
-Oversee Order Fulfillment: Manage the complete process of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery to distribution centers in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
-Monitor Demand and Supply Alerts: Act promptly on alerts from planning tools to maintain optimal stock levels and address any discrepancies.
-Optimize Stock Allocation: Make strategic decisions regarding stock distribution across all customers to maximize overall business efficiency.
-Address Supply Issues: Proactively resolve supply challenges caused by demand fluctuations to prevent stock shortages and ensure availability.
-Mitigate Quality Risks: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance manager to address supply and demand risks arising from quality concerns.
-Analyze and Improve KPIs: Regularly review key performance indicators related to customer service levels and implement corrective actions to drive improvement.
-Manage Inventory Lifecycle: Oversee the management of obsolete stock, including identifying expiring products, organizing destruction, and ensuring compliance with business protocols.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
-Experience in Supply Chain or Customer Service is essential.
-A minimum of 1 years of relevant professional experience.
-Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
-Strong verbal and written communication abilities in both Dutch and English.
-Understanding of Supply Chain and Customer Service processes.
-Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
