Role Description:
As a Senior Procurement Specialist to join the team and play a key role in supporting the integration of procurement processes following an acquisition. This role involves managing supplier relationships, overseeing contracts, and ensuring that the procurement structure is aligned with the company’s long-term goals. You will be responsible for guiding medium to large-scale change initiatives and ensuring the successful setup of procurement operations.
 
Responsibilities:
-Manage supplier relationships and oversee contract management.
-Support the integration of procurement processes from the acquired entity.
-Analyze and categorize the supplier base to optimize procurement efficiency.
-Implement risk management strategies and manage financial implications in supply contracts.
-Drive procurement activities for the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
-Contribute to the setup of the organization’s procurement framework.
 
Requirements:
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement within large, complex organizations.
-Proven experience managing medium to large-scale change initiatives.
-Strong contract management skills, including a business and legal understanding of contracts.
-Proficient in supplier assessment and categorization.
-Financial acumen with experience in reviewing cost models and managing their impact on the business.
-Risk management experience within procurement.
-Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for those with pharmaceutical manufacturing site procurement experience.
-Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
