Role description
As a HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating HR activities within our organization. Based at our Global HQ in Amsterdam, you will ensure HR processes comply with Dutch labor laws and maintain the highest standards of efficiency. Your fluency in Dutch and understanding of local legislation will be vital in managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities
- Managing onboarding processes, coordinate employment contracts, and ensure smooth setup of resources for new hires.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies while handling confidential information.
- Managing system access, technology provision, and offboarding for contingent workers, ensuring company data security.
- Overseeing employee benefits programs, assisting with inquiries, and informing employees about their entitlements.
- Serving as a point of contact for HR-related matters, mediate conflicts, and support a positive work environment.
- Tracking and managing employee leave requests, including vacation and sick leave.
- Generating and analyzing workforce metrics to support HR strategies.
- Participating in and leading HR projects focused on process improvements and employee engagement.
- Processing and paying invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments while managing stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; 1-2 years of HR administration experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Fluency in Dutch and strong proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Solid understanding of Dutch labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, confidentiality, organizational skills, and adaptability.
- A customer service-oriented mindset and the ability to work in a team are essential.
