They are currently seeking a skilled Logistic and Facility Specialist to join their team and support their upcoming turnaround project.

About the Position:
As the Logistic and Facility Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing, executing, and closing out the turnaround project. This position is essential to ensure that all logistical and facility needs are effectively managed throughout the project. You will work closely with the Construction Manager and other team members to coordinate the setup, maintenance, and teardown of temporary structures and facilities, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing the layout and placement of temporary buildings and facilities during the turnaround.
• Manage space allocation and ensure that all areas remain clear and accessible according to the project plan.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of workshops, sanitary facilities, bicycle sheds, and other necessary structures.
• Develop and coordinate logistics plans, including road and crane operations, in collaboration with the Construction Manager and Lead Planner.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure all logistical needs are met efficiently.
• Document the logistics plan and prepare the site for a smooth transition back to regular operations after the turnaround.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics or facility management, ideally within an industrial or turnaround project environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating effectively with various teams.
• Familiarity with project management and logistics planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work effectively under pressure.
• A degree in engineering, construction management, logistics, industrial management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
