Role description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Crane Safety Officer to join our team. In this role, you will support the maintenance and updating of the “P-OS-2211 crane and lifting” procedure, ensuring it aligns with operational excellence (OE) and regulatory requirements. You will also provide support during OE audits. Communication of any procedural changes to the organization, including contractors, will be a key part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support and update the “P-OS-2211 crane and lifting” procedure, ensuring alignment with operational excellence (OE) and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support during OE audits and communicate procedural changes to the organization and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures through regular field rounds, documentation, and participation in weekly safety meetings.
  • Analyze and report monthly on procedure compliance to the HSE department.
  • Maintain records of inspected cranes and operators and oversee crane usage documentation.
  • Supervise critical lifts and conduct inspections of cranes and related equipment for proper certification and documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience in crane operations and safety procedures.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to lifting operations.
  • Ability to work independently and in coordination with various teams.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Technical knowledge of crane and lifting equipment.
