Our client provides a wide range of consumer products, including dairy drinks, infant food, cheese, and desserts, across numerous European countries as well as in Asia and Africa. Additionally, they supply professional customers with cream and butter products for bakeries and catering companies. Furthermore, our client manufactures ingredients and semi-finished products for infant nutrition, the food industry, and the pharmaceutical sector globally.
 
Role Description:
As part of this role, you will take charge of non-product-related installations and play a key role in managing, drafting, and finalizing contracts for HVAC and utility systems. Your expertise will also be essential in providing input for the design and optimization of utility processes at operational, tactical, and strategic levels, ensuring effective contract management throughout.
 
Responsibilities:
-Monitor and evaluate the quality, progress, and performance of delivered services.
-Bring experience in maintenance and energy processes within the Food sector and Utilities.
-Troubleshoot plant issues, identifying and resolving root causes, especially in process deviations and utility system optimizations.
-Stay current with laws, regulations, and responsibilities related to utilities.
-Manage modifications, expansions, and renewals of building-related installations and utilities within defined parameters.
-Oversee energy measurements and ensure accurate reporting to government authorities.
-Perform calculations for process optimizations, such as heat recovery, and initiate sustainability projects.
 
Requirements:
-HBO or WO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or similar.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, Utilities, and energy-saving.
-Knowledge of HACCP, safety, and hygiene standards.
-Experience in the Food industry and wastewater management is a plus.
-Proficiency in Dutch and English.
-Strong understanding of complex installations.
-Excellent planning, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
-Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration.
