Our client provides a wide range of consumer products, including dairy drinks, infant food, cheese, and desserts, across numerous European countries as well as in Asia and Africa. Additionally, they supply professional customers with cream and butter products for bakeries and catering companies. Furthermore, our client manufactures ingredients and semi-finished products for infant nutrition, the food industry, and the pharmaceutical sector globally.
Role Description:
You will be involved in the continuous improvement of the technical maintenance of a large factory in the food industry with the most innovative production processes. In this challenging role, you will be co-responsible for the Asset Management of the Leeuwarden site.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and execute improvement projects to enhance the reliability of installations.
– Analyze failure data and conduct root cause analyses.
– Ensure standard work processes are embedded within the organization and improve them where necessary.
– Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs in collaboration with technical departments.
– Work with production and maintenance teams to quickly and effectively resolve faults.
– Prepare reports and KPIs related to reliability and maintenance.
– Provide recommendations on the purchase and installation of new equipment from a reliability perspective.
– Perform risk analyses and implement mitigation plans.
– Contribute to improving safety standards within the factory.
Requirements:
– Completed HBO/WO education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a similar field.
– At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the food industry.
– Knowledge of and experience with reliability and maintenance engineering methodologies, such as FMECA and RCA.
– Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g., Ultimo or SAP PM).
– Good management of Dutch and English
