The client creates innovative and sustainable meat successors directly from beans and legumes. The mission is to become the biggest butcher in the world by making plant-based meat the new standard. 

Role description
The role will focus on supporting key projects that aim to expand our presence and efficiency in the plant-based sector, particularly within partnerships with quick-service restaurants. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-paced environment and contribute to our goal of reducing animal consumption by promoting plant-based alternatives. 

Responsibilities 

• Conducting deep-dive analyses into QSR forecast data, refining existing data sets, and applying insights from various customers to enhance forecasting accuracy for our Burger King partnership.
• Aligning promotional activities with sales forecasts, providing insights into expected volume fluctuations and optimizing inventory management.
• Converting sales and average unit volume (AUV) data from customers into actionable insights, identifying and addressing pain points in different customer markets.
• Track On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance for the two largest contract manufacturers (CMs) supporting their orders, and automating tracking processes where possible.
• Proposing optimizations for performance tracking of CMs, ensuring alignment with agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conducting risk assessments for new product innovations, focusing on raw material stock levels and the risk of obsolescence. 

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally within the food industry or a related sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Experience in forecasting, supply chain management, or data analysis, particularly in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for plant-based products and sustainable food innovation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Availability to commit to a temporary role from August to January 2025.
