About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Manager of Production to lead a dedicated team in our client’s parenteral production facility. This role is critical to achieving the facility’s long-term goals and annual objectives by overseeing all aspects of bulk manufacturing and packaging. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining top-notch safety and quality standards, optimizing production processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Operations: Manage daily production activities, ensuring that all shifts run smoothly and meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.

• Drive Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to enhance production processes, introduce new lines, and apply operational excellence (OPEX) principles to boost productivity.

• Mentor and Develop Teams: Provide guidance and training to the Production Supervisor Team, identifying skill gaps and offering coaching to promote professional growth.

• Ensure Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance, acting as an emergency manager when necessary.

• Represent the Facility: Act as a key representative during regulatory inspections and audits, maintaining a proactive and positive approach with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or significant experience in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a production department, preferably in pharmaceuticals.

• Familiarity with GMP, SAP, MES, and other production IT systems.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and drive change.

• Operational excellence (OPEX) experience and a Belt certification are advantageous.

• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

• A results-driven mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
