Role Description
In this role you will be part of the logistics team in Lochem. Hereby, you are jointly responsible for the proper production planning and management of the factory, particularly focused on the Inulin process.

Responsibilities
-Translating the delivery plan into an optimal plan for the operational horizon, considering the technical production and quality requirements and constraints.
-Communicating detailed planning with delivery and material planning, production, warehouse, maintenance, and logistics to ensure an optimal level of service and efficient use of resources.
-Continuously monitoring production output to ensure that actual production meets the planned output, proactively identifying issues and communicating them with stakeholders.
-Supporting and advising the Supply Network Planner in translating (adjusted) demand plans into a solid supply plan for the external market and internal stakeholders.
-Monitoring and adjusting plans for: raw materials/packaging to the plant, storage and processing in the factory, and finished products to external locations and customers.
-Physically inspecting outgoing shipments for accuracy.
-Checking production figures at a detailed level and being able to resolve any detected errors both physically and systemically.
-Identifying improvement opportunities and potentially initiating and implementing improvements (department).

Requirements
– Affinity with the process or food industry. Experience in the dairy industry is a plus.
– A team player with the following qualities: analytical, flexible, stress-resistant, good communication skills, and an entrepreneurial and critical mindset
– Knowledge and experience with automation systems such as SAP (OMP) and MS Office (particularly Excel)
