Our client, a leading global biotechnology company, is dedicated to providing life-saving medications for patients worldwide. Their Global Clinical Supply Chain department ensures that clinical trial supplies are available and maintained at a high service level. The department includes roles in supply setup, customer service, and inventory planning across centralized warehouses and local hospitals.

About the position
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Global Supply Planner to join the support office team. This role is crucial in achieving the targets for patient dosing by supporting the global planning team. The Support Office planner ensures the execution of complex activities, inventory monitoring, and minimizing product waste during clinical trials. Working in a team of two, the planner acts as the backbone of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Convert purchase orders for global labeling locations, ensuring timely quality release and shipment to warehouses.
  • Handle initiation and processes for product destruction.
  • Run global reports and metrics, triggering activities for Global Study Planners.
  • Provide labeling to hospitals to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain clean and accurate system records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration with 1 year of experience, or an Associate degree (MBO) with 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Ability to work accurately under stress in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptability to process changes and technological advancements.
