Role Description
The Payroll Specialist manages all aspects of employee compensation, making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on schedule, following company rules and legal requirements. They might also work on improving payroll procedures and introducing new benefits programs.

-Ensuring payroll accuracy by reviewing data, adjusting, and resolving any discrepancies.
-Creating and implementing new policies and procedures for managing payroll.
-Staying updated on changes in labor laws and regulations that impact payroll processes.
-Updating or introducing payroll systems to align with business requirements.
-Maintaining employee records, including tax documents and personnel files.
-Generating reports on employee compensation, deductions, benefits, and other relevant metrics.
-Approving time sheets to verify accurate recording of employees’ hours.
-Managing the entire payroll process, including wage calculations and payments.
-Training staff on updated payroll procedures to ensure adherence to company policies.
-Leading payroll-related projects and providing support for integration testing.
-Offering initial support for HR applications and preventing potential issues in payroll runs.
-Assisting the Benefit administrator with year-end and periodic controls.

-Preference for a bachelor’s degree, accounting, finance or a related field.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in a payroll position
-Process management, problem solving, organizational skills.
