The client is a global leader in polyolefins technology and a producer of refined products including biofuels. This company participates in the entire petrochemical value chain from refining to specialized petrochemical product end uses. Role description
As a Maintenance E&I Specialist, you ensure that the equipment in the assigned area is kept in optimal condition by organizing, carrying out and checking maintenance and project construction work. The Maintenance Specialist is the first point of contact for work in the factory for contractors and ensures that the work is carried out efficiently in accordance with internal and external HSEQ requirements. You work together in a team of several Maintenance specialists E&I, Analyst specialists and technicians. In addition, you have good relationships with the other specialists (rotating and static), the engineers, planning, operations and with contractors and executors. You ensure that preventive work is scheduled first (preventive maintenance). And you deal with corrective maintenance but try to keep this to a minimum. The aim is to work more systematically, more preventative than corrective. You keep an overview of all E&I activities that are running simultaneously and prioritize. You adhere as much as possible to the KPIs set for time, quality, budget within which the malfunctions must be resolved and report this to the E&I Supervisor. You contribute ideas to improving and digitalizing maintenance work processes. You assess and act on acute plant problems and critical disruptions and are a member of the call-out crisis team (on a roster basis). 

Responsibilities

  • 20% assessing work orders in SAP and distribute them to the planners who put together the work packages;
  • 10% checking the work packages;
  • 20% being the point of contact for all contractors;
  • 20% helping to determine priorities for maintenance work, making correct diagnoses, dealing with ad hoc malfunctions;
  • 30% keeping an overview of all activities, structure reporting on the status of planning and budget.

You see helping with digitization of the maintenance process as a challenge that gives you energy. 

  • Technical HBO training or MBO+ E&I maintenance;
  • At HBO from 2 years of work experience and at MBO from 5 years of relevant E&I maintenance experience in a similar industrial environment;
  • Knowledge of ATEX and HVAC is important;
  • Experience with SAP is a plus;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a must.
